Overview

Route Student Progress Report is a Chrome Extension that helps instructors and educational organizations generate and send professional student progress reports directly from Google Sheets using their own Gmail account.

Google Permissions

Google Sheets

The extension requests read-only access to Google Sheets in order to read student information needed to generate progress reports.

Gmail

The extension requests Gmail sending permission solely to send emails on behalf of the authenticated user after the user explicitly chooses to send them.

Information We Access

• Student information stored in the selected Google Sheet.
• Email addresses contained in the spreadsheet.
• Google account authorization.

Information We Do NOT Store

• Google Sheets data.
• Student records.
• Gmail messages.
• Email contents.
• OAuth tokens.
• Personal information.

How Your Data Is Used

All processing happens locally inside the Chrome Extension.

Emails are sent directly through Google's official Gmail API.

No data is uploaded to our own servers.

Third-Party Services

This application only communicates with Google's official APIs including Google Sheets API and Gmail API.
